The African National Congress in the Western Cape on Sunday issued a statement calling for the Western Cape Premier to resign.

The ANC Provincial Leader Marius Fransman said Zille and her community safety MEC Dan Plato to pack up and resign after the latest Western Cape shocking scandal.

Fransman says it is clear that the DA was politically motivated when it collected and fabricated false information to wrongfully incriminate ANC leaders and SAPS of serious criminal activities.

Fransman explained that MEC Plato has gaveled with gangsters bringing down ANC leaders.

“Therefore Premier Zille must explain whether she also met with gang groups, what group it is that she met with and why and whether she also provided funded from the City and the province for certain dubious NGO’s,” added Fransman.

He also said that Premier Zille must go regarding the information at hand.
