Five people injured in two separate accidents

Three people were injured, one critically after a vehicle rolled on the N2 near the M41 last night.

Netcare 911’s spokesperson Chris Botha said that the vehicle was travelling along the South Bound lane before it veered off the road and overturned.

Botha said the wreckage came to rest in the North Bound lane.

Botha said that the car left the road overturned then and then ended up in the North Bound lane there was three people injured one in a critical condition the other two sustained serious injuries.

“They were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals for further medical care,” added Botha

Paramedics also raced out to a scene where two people were left injured after a vehicle veered off the road and collided with the barriers in the N2 North near the NPC cement factory.

Netcare 911’s spokesperson Chris Botha said the exact details to the cause of the accident and proceeding events will remain a subject for police investigation.

Botha explains that the vehicle left the road and then smashed into the barrier.

“When we arrived there two people had sustained serious injuries, they were both stabilized and then transported to the King Edward hospital for further care,” said Botha.
