The Liquor Authority will be embarking on a wide awareness campaign in theWestern Cape to promote

in terms of the social and physical ills it promotes such as crime, injury and
illness.
Ministerial Spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste said
that the Liquor Authority will go to different areas including Malmesbury, Philippi , Eerste River , khayelitsha and
part of the Southern Cape .
“This is to educate people about the dangers of alcohol abuse and promote a more healthy drinking culture,” added Jooste.
