Minister Pandor to asses service delivery at Oshoek Boarder Post

Home Affairs Minister Naledi Pandor is today expected to visit Oshoek Boarder Post to assess service delivery. 

Minister Pandor will also make her way to the Nhlazatshe Sports Ground in Mpumalanga where she is expected to hand over identity documents to residents in the area, as part of the National Population Registration Campaign. 

Departmental Spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa explains that Minister Pandor will be joined at the Nhlazatshe Sports Ground by the Premier of Mpumalanga David Mabuza, MEC Masuku, Deputy Minister Fatima Chohan, Director general Mkuseli Apleni and senior home affairs officials in mobilizing local residents to ensure registration of child birth is done in 30 days of delivery.

“Organisation of youths of 16 years and above to apply for ID’s as well as to end the practice of late registration of births,” added Mamoepa.
