Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santie Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found that five people had been ejected off the car they were travelling in.
The cause of both accidents is not yet known and the police are investigating.

paramedics on Saturday night responded to an accident on the N2 north bound by
Prospecton in Kwazulu Natal.
It is alleged that
a motor vehicle carrying about 5 occupants overturned.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santie Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found that five people had been ejected off the car they were travelling in.
Steinmann said one
man sustained critical injuries and tragically passed away as a result of his
injuries. Three women and a man were seriously injured and after they were
stabilised on scene they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
In another accident
a motorcyclist was critically injured when his motorcycle collided with a
vehicle on Luipaard Street

said when they arrived on scene they found the cyclist had sustained multiple
injuries and after he was stabilised on scene he was rushed to hospital.
