Western Cape
Traffic officials conducted 24 roadblocks over the weekend. The objective of
these roadblocks was to reduce road fatalities throughout the province over weekends.

possible alcohol use and in the process they arrested 20 drunk drivers. Africa

“We also issued
1 036 fines for various contraventions of speeding offences. The highest speed
was 178 km/h in a 120 km/h zone.” Africa added.
