Khumalo said that the City Of Cape Town has not adhered to their call to settle when they made noise about this issue where their shop stewards are being targeted.

“They were also charged left, right and centre and therefore leading to some of the dismissals and we have been asking the City of Cape Town to come to the table and settle,” added Khumalo.

He furthermore said that as a result of the City’s choice to not listen, they proceeded to take the matter to arbitration resulting in the dispute that they City has been ordered to pay thousands of rands for having dismissed these shop stewards.
