Classes at the Walter Sisulu University will
begin on Tuesday this is after a six week long strike over wages.
The National Education, Health and
Allied Workers' Union settled on a 5%
wage increase.

Spokesperson Angela Church said they have redrafted the academic calendar to
ensure the best for the students.
Church said the academic calendar
has been reschedule to include Saturday mornings, the September Holidays has
been removed and the academic project will move a bit further to December so
that there can be sufficient time.
