A man died in accident on the N12 near Glenharvie

ER24 paramedics together with fire fighters from Potchefstroom responded to a serious collision on the N12 highway near Glenharvie today. 

It is believed that a passenger vehicle traveling in the Potchefstroom direction crashed into a truck which resulted in one person being killed. 

ER24 Spokesperson Christo Venter said the man was traveling from Johannesburg and his vehicle collided into the truck.

“After he was trapped in the vehicle paramedics had to use the jaws of life to free his body and they found the man was already deceased.” Venter added.
 
The man was declared dead on the scene and police are doing the necessary investigations to find the cause of this fatal accident.
