Two men were busy working inside a
petrol tank at a Boksburg service station today when both of them fell into the
10 meter tank whereby one died the other is in a stable condition in hospital.
ER24 Spokesperson Werner Vermaak said
the injured man was evacuated from the tank by the local fire services and was transported
through to a local hospital.
Vermaak said ER24 helicopter was
also called to the scene but stood down after they were notified that the other
man had sadly died.
ER24’s Werner Vermaak added that the
guys were doing a routine maintenance in the tank. No other injuries were reported.
