ACDP calls for speedy resolution to drug problem in Long Street

The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has called on Community Safety MEC Dan Plato to work with Provincial Police Commissioner Arno Lamoer to execute a successful operation on Long Street. 

On Tuesday MEC Plato said he will be conducting his own investigation into the availability of drugs on Long Street. 

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said it is a problem but MEC Plato has an oversight the provincial Commissioner and they need to work together.

He added that a strategy is needed urgently to solve this problem.
