"We are glad that the case has been dropped but we cannot leave it as such, we want to know how far the disciplinary case against the three officers who were suspended” Christians added.
The African
Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has
welcomed the withdrawal of charges against busker Lunga Goodman and his
wife.
Six officers
forcefully removed Goodman from his busking spot in July this year.
The City of Cape Town then launched an
investigation into the matter and three of the six officers have been
suspended.
ACDP Provincial
Leader Ferlon Christians said they want to also know about what happened to the
case of the Law Enforcement Officers that manhandled the busker.
"We are glad that the case has been dropped but we cannot leave it as such, we want to know how far the disciplinary case against the three officers who were suspended” Christians added.
