The Congress of South African Trade Union in the North West has vowed to continue its fight against expensive toll gates.

Cosatu said it welcomes the statement by the provincial cabinet that it has requested that the toll at the Swartruggens plaza be reduced to R58.

Today Cosatu will be picketing at the Swartruggens plaza opposing the toll gate.

Provincial Secretary of Cosatu Solly Phetoe said it started off with the campaign that Cosatu is leading national against e-tolling, labour brokers and all those exploitation process happening the country targeting the private sector that are exploitating workers.

We are very disappointed about the conduct of the minister of transport including the SANRAL and Bakwena. We do not agree with R58.
