The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa in Gauteng said it is appalled by the reckless decision by the management at Tembisa Hospital to relocate nursing students to make way for doctors.

Denosa Provincial Organiser Sipho Qankase said this will inconvenience students who are in the middle of the end of year exams.

Qankase added that this decision also shows the unilateral leadership of the current CEO at the hospital.

Qankase said Denosa calls for the Head of the Tembisa hospital Ms Tsekane to resign, Health MEC Hope Papo and Minister Motsoaledi to ensure that the is a fit CEO at the hospital and Denosa will help the students brought complaints against the CEO.
