A group of about twenty people allegedly belonging to the Economic Freedom Fighters gathered at the Sanlam Head Office in Bellville today, where they spilled human waste at the reception area and front entrance of the building.

Police were immediately alerted of the incident.

Sanlam Head of Communication at Sanlam in Bellville Ainsley Moos said as the group tried to empty the human waste a scuffle erupted between some of the EFF members and the police.

Moos added that police arrested a number of individuals and the incident lasted for about 15 minutes.

It is alleged that the whole incident was regarding an ex employer of Sanlam who’s contract was terminated.
