Members of the Food and Allied Workers Union across facilities of South African Breweries have today intensified it strike action.

This follows another failure to reach an agreement on wage working conditions and benefits between FAWU and SAB management.

FAWU General Secretary Katishi Masemola said the union leadership has written to the directors of SAB calling for an urgent meeting with a hope of settling the strike.

Masemola said that they will be encouraging other members  that went back to work, to take to the streets again, so basically the strike has been intensified.
