Matric learners encouraged to study hard during exams

Over 68 000 matrics in the Western Cape have a week to go until they write the 2013 National Senior Certificate examinations and the Western Cape Department of Education has wished the class of 2013 the best of luck. 

MEC Donald Grant has urged all matrics to use every opportunity to study for these exams. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said candidates have a large amount of study material at their disposal to use during this study period and they can also use previous matric papers and the families should support during this critical time of their lives.

Meanwhile MEC Grant has warned all candidates that are writing the 2013 National Senior Certificate Examination that cheating will results in serious consequences.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said cheating is a serious offence and anyone found cheating that would negatively impact on their future, learners should try by all means to avoid doing it.
