MEC Plato shocked at the fact that the 10111 number is not working correctly

 The Western Cape Community Safety MEC Dan Plato said he is shocked at the fact that the 10111 number in Cape Town has not been recording or logging calls due to faulty equipment. 

Plato has asked that this matter be rectified immediately. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Greg Wagner said has assured the public that the matter will be look at and rectified soon.

Wagner said the public can continue using the number.
