A 36-year-old man shot and robbed in Plumstead

Western Cape police have today confirmed that a 36-year-old man was shot and wounded in Plumstead on Monday afternoon. 

This is after three unidentified men robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. 

Police Spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana said according to the information they received the victim was about to deposit money when he was robbed by the suspects. 

Kinana said the suspects fled the scene with the money in a black VW Golf registration number CA 151800.  The police have opened a case of armed robbery and attempted murder.

“Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects is kindly requested to contact 021 7107340 or call Crime Stop on 0800 10111” Kinana added.
