An accident
occurred on the N1 near Touws River
It is alleged that
a tanker truck overturned and obstructed traffic.
Western Cape
Traffic Chief Kenny Africa said officials are still busy offloading the petrol
into another vehicle.
The road had to be
closed yesterday and today part of the road has been reopened and motorists are
advised to use alternative routes.
He added that there are stop and go signs in that area for about 30 km and urged motorists to use alternative routes for now and the road will be re-opened again once the wreckage has been cleared.
