A woman injured in an accident in Bloemfontein

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Dr Belcher Road in Bloemfontein last night.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found a woman, believed to be in her fifties, in a critical condition after she was knocked over by a minibus.

“The critically injured woman was treated while being rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care she required,” Steinmann

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Meanwhile Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Frates Road in Villiera, Pretoria this evening.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson said when they arrived on scene they found that two motor vehicles had collided resulting in one man tragically losing his life. Two women sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

The two women were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
