Lookout murder suspect sentenced to life imprisonment

Western Cape Police said it is satisfied with the harsh sentence passed onto the last of four accused that had been found guilty in the Look-Out Murder in Plettenberg. 

The murder claimed the life of a 46-year-old.  Earlier this month one suspect was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder.

Southern Cape Police Spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said the accused were found guilty of on two counts of robbery with aggravating circumstances and guilty of murder which he received life imprisonment.

Pojie added that in addition he was sentenced to ten years for attempted robbery with aggravating circumstances and five years for the unlawful possession of firearm.

“All the sentences will run concurrently with the life imprisonment”, Pojie added.
