Three suspects arrested in connection with the murder of a school principal in Durban

The Greytown Cluster Team and Pietermaritzburg Tactical Response Team arrested three suspects for the murder of a school principal at Kranskop area.

Police Spokesperson Thulani Zwane said the members sourced out information that led them to various places at Kranskop and arrested two alleged hitmen and a woman who allegedly hired hitmen to kill the victim. The woman was found in possession of two firearms, a shotgun and a rifle H5.

Zwane said all arrested suspects aged between 32 and 40 years will appear in the Kranskop Magistrate’s Court tomorrow, 25 November 2013 facing charges of murder and the woman will face an additional charge of possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

 The victim, was at home at Kranskop area when he was allegedly attacked and shot by three suspects back in October.

The suspects fled the scene using their getaway vehicle and nothing was taken from the victim. The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to hospital but later died of his injuries.
