A teenager stabbed in a robbery in George

Southern Cape police said a 16-year-old boy was on Thursday stabbed during a robbery in George. 

It is believed that the boy was with his father fishing when they were robbed by three armed men with knives at a dam. 

Police have not made any arrests so far.

Captain Bernadine Steyn said the robbers took a wallet and wrist watch and stabed the teenager in the arm and just above his eye.

Police are still investigating and have urged to public to come forward with any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.
