The ACDP in the Western Cape has called on the Premier Hellen Zille to launch a thorough investigation into the allegations that Community Safety MEC Dan Plato is closely linked to a former DA Councillor who was expelled from the party but was given a job.

ACDP Western Cape Leader Ferlon Christians said they are concerned about the appointment.

“We believe that she works in the department and we cannot emphasise the fact that this is a cadre deployment.

We want the Premier to investigate these allegations, Premier Zille calls on clean government but it when it comes her party she ignores what is happening in her party,” Christians added.
