Approximately 76 schools affected by bad weather in Mpumalanga

About 76 schools have been damaged by cruel storms in Mpumalanga.

The Mpumalanga provincial government says it’s struggling to find funds to repair the damage.

The local government says they’re looking at various options. Government is worried that the bad weather will damage more schools.

The Mpumalanga Education Department’s Jasper Zwane has appealed for patience among affected communities.

School windows are smashed in and the roofs have been damaged.
