Delft Community Health Centre to experience a four hour power outage

The Western Cape Department of Health today said the Delft Community Health Centre will be experiencing a power outage this afternoon. 

This as the new ARV unit will be connected to the rest of the facility. 

MEC of Health Theuns Botha said the four hour disruption will have a big impact in the long term. 

Departmental Spokesperson Sithembiso Magubane said even the backup generator will be disconnected during this time.  The department will like to apologise inconvenience caused.

“During this time the ambulance services and the patients will be redirected to another facility which is the Eerste River Hospital” Magubane added.
