About eleven people were seriously injured when a minibus taxi veered off the road and went down an embankment.
The accident occurred in Pinetown, Kwazulu
Natal this morning.
No fatalities were reported.
ER 24 Spokesperson Christo Venter said when
paramedics arrived at the scene they found all eleven patients lying down and
they were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital
for further care.
Venter said the road had to be temporary
closed but it has since been re-opened and the police are investigating the
cause of the accident.
