Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the N1 south bound south of Polokwane on Monday.

Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon arrival on scene they found that a light
delivery vehicle and a heavy goods vehicle had collided resulting in four
people losing their lives and three people sustaining injuries.
Steinmann added
that all the injured were transported on scene before they were transported to
hospital for further medical care.
The exact details
of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police
investigation.
