Bloemfontein accident left a pedestrian seriously injured

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on the N1 south bound in Bloemfontein yesterday afternoon.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon their arrival on scene they found that a woman was in a serious condition after she was knocked over by a motor vehicle.

Steinmann added that the woman was treated on scene before she was transported to hospital for further medical care.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
