Emergency Medical Services Personnel caught in a gang shooting in Mitchell’s Plain

A Western Cape Emergency Medical Services Personnel was on Sunday caught in the crossfire between rival gangs in Tafelsig, Mitchell’s Plain. 

Several incidents where EMS and paramedics have been caught in crossfire has been prevalent in the last few weeks. 

EMS Spokesperson Robert Daniels said a 24 year-old females medical emergency services personnel suffered a gun shot wound in her.

Daniels further said she was rushed to hospital in a stable condition and the police are investigating the incident.
