Five people injured in an accident in Durban

An accident involving a taxi and a light motor vehicle left five people injured at Berea Road in Durban.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said a taxi slammed into the back another vehicle.

Botha said when paramedics arrived there were five people injured they were treated on scene and then transported to various hospitals for further care.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
