A man was
knocked over by a motor vehicle underneath the Olifantsfontein Road Bridge Kempton Park

spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the Netcare1 helicopter was activated to
airlift a critically injured man to hospital, from the R21 highway.
Steinmann added that the highway was closed off for all traffic in both directions and re-opened after the Netcare1 helicopter was airborne from the scene.
Exact detail to
the cause of the accident and preceding events remain the subject of a police
investigation.
