KZN Police: Rumours regarding matric murders not true

KwaZulu Natal Police have confirmed that the rumours which are making the rounds that five matric pupils in the province committeed suicide after failing matric are not true. 

The rumours started circulating on different social media plateforms on Tuesday. 

Captain Thulani Zwane said the Phoenix Police station did not receive any reports of such kind and the public should stop with these rumours. 

“We appeal to anyone who might have more information to come forward and report it to the police.
