Netcare 911 paramedics said a 22-year-old
male is presumed to have drowned this is after he and a 55-year-old man were
pulled out to sea in a strong current at Umdloti main beach.
The 55-year-old man was rescued by
paramedics.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said
paramedics treated him on scene he was still in serious conditions and he was
taken through to a local hospital.
“The 22 year old has gone under the water presumed
to have drowned,” Botha added.
The search continues until the body is
found.
