A tragic accident on the N2 near Umhlanga left an elderly man dead.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha
said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver, a man in his sixties
still trapped in the wreckage of his car with life threatening injuries.
Botha said paramedics performed a
rapid extrication and immediately started to resuscitate the man. Tragically
despite all their efforts the patient was declared dead at the scene.
Exact detail to the cause of the
accident is being investigated by police.
