Houses to be handed over to Delft residents today

Western Cape MEC of Human Settlement Bonginkosi Madikizela together with Western Cape Premier Helen Zille and national Minister of Human Settlement Connie September will be handing over houses in Delft today. 

This is part of the Delft Symphony Precinct 3&4 Housing Project, which is the first housing project to use alternative building materials.

Ministerial Spokesperson Zalisile Mbali said the benefits of ABT is help households to stay warm during winter and have reduced energy usage.

Mbali added that the project has a budget of R 385 million and will delivery 1 951 units when complete, the allocation of housing opportunities will split among backyarders and other communities.
