Career Expo to be held in Mitchell’s Plain for the youth

The Minister of Higher Education and Training Blade Nzimande will today be in Mitchell’s Plain to host a career Expo.

The Expo is targeting learners and youth in Mitchell’s Plain that are neither in education nor employed. Ministerial Spokesperson Vuyo Yekani said the expo will provide study opportunities, funding and skills courses. 

Yekani said through this program it is expected that our department,the Department of Higher Education Training will be equipping the learners and out of school youth with the necessary information that will enable them to make informed career choices.

Enabling them to tap into other opportunities of education and training in the post-school education and training sector.

“At the career expo a number of our entities at the Department of Higher Education particularly the fitters have exhibits and relay information that might be of use to the students and other young people who are neither in employment or in school” Yekani added.
