The Democratic Alliance said President Jacob Zuma has violated  the 10 day rule.  This is after numerous written parliamentary questions to the President through the National Council of Provinces went unanswered.

Spokesperson for DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko, Sivive Gwarube said in terms of the rules of Parliament, it is clear that all questions must be answered within ten working days

Gwarube added that it also emerged that in the questions that were asked in the national assembly four out of the five questions that related to Nkandla were not answered by the President.

Gwarube concluded that Mazibuko will be reporting the President to the speaker of the National Assembly Max Sisulu and leader of government business DP Kgalema Motlanthe to force him to answer the questions as a matter of urgency.
