MyCiti bus service to be rolled out in Atlantis

Today City of Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille will be launching the MyCiti bus service to Atlantis. 

City of Cape Town Spokesperson Priya Reddy said there has been an exceptional interest in the MyCiti service in Atlantis with over 1 000 my connect cards being issued to residents last week. 

Reddy said it is a very significant day for the city today as the roll-out of the launch of the MyCiti in Atlantis.

“We have already done Hangberg, Hout Bay and Imizamo Yethu recently we are looking forward to Khayelitsha and Mitchell's Plain in July. But this Atlantis route is a particularly important one for us, as we seek to give people safe reliable and affordable transport they can access the economic and other opportunities in the city.” Reddy.
