Western Cape government this week launched the Western Cape Government’s capital infrastructure Delivery website.

Premier Helen Zille said the website provides information amongst other things on delivery in municipalities over the next three financial years.

Zille said for the initial phase of the project over 1 050 projects have been uploaded onto the website.

Premier Spokesperson Zak Mbhele said this website gives detailed information around how many schools, how many clinics, how many hospitals, how many medical facilities, libraries and road repairs.

All the delivery mandates that provincial government departments are responsible for in spending on capital infrastructure and where that’s going to be rolled out at which amount.

It’s really an enhancement of the transparency for the government in communicating with residents what the government does for them Mbhele added.
