Ridge View Abahlai baseMjondolo on
Wednesday returned to court this as 12 of its members who occupied the Ridge
View flats in December last year were arrested.
The members were given bail in their
first court appearance last year and will no return to court in June.
Over one hundred families were
evicted during a mass eviction at Ridge View.
Abahlai baseMjondolo’s Nono Majola
said they going to trial on the 30th and 31st of July. The
people who were arrested for trespassing and damaging of property.
“The breaching of the court order
also adds on to their charges Majola added.
