A man died and another was left critically injured in an accident involving a truck on Bezela Road Makopane this morning.

Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived
both the occupants of the
truck were still trapped in the wreckage and firemen had
to use the Jaws of life to free
them.
“Paramedics
evaluated both patients. Tragicaly one
man died due to the very severe injuries that he sustained and another was in a
critical condition. He was treated on scene and transported to a nearby
hospital for further care.” said Botha
The exact
details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police
investigation.
