Cape Chamber: New ministry will not necessary boost small business

The Cape Chamber of Commerce said by President Jacob Zuma creating a new ministry for small enterprise will not necessary boost small business.
 
President of the Chamber Janine Myburgh said it was good for government to recognise the importance of small business in the growth of the economy and the creation of jobs.
 
Myburgh added that more assistance from government is needed for small businesses. 
 
Myburgh said we do welcome the government’s recognition of the importance of small business in the growth of the economy and the creation of jobs.
 
Myburgh said however the decision has been made and we believe that the first task of the new ministry which was announced by
 
“President Jacob Zuma should be to reveal all existing legislature. The impact on small business and to free up the sector as far as possible Myburgh added.
