Condolences have started to pour in for the Ibrahim family and close friends of Zane Ibrahim.  Ibrahim passed away yesterday after a short illness in the Netherlands.

Ibrahim was a co –founder and served as Managing Director of Bush Radio for over 13 years.

General Manager of Radio 786 Rushni Allie described Ibrahim as a good asset and resource to the media industry.

Allie said they will remember the legacy Zane Ibrahim by remembering how he gave back to the people.

She said if it wasn’t for him the development of human beings and always making sure that opportunities created for disadvantaged people. If I spoke to him he truly was a man fighting for the oppressed and was always a seeker of justice.

“This will always be acknowledged and I’m grateful that he was one of the men who fought against apartheid. We are proud to have associated ourselves with a great man of his stature at Radio 786.” Allie added.
