The Congress of South African Trade Union in the North West said it will continue to protest over the most expensive toll gate which is the N4 toll gate Swartruggens.

Cosatu Provincial Secretary Solly Phetoe said they are glad that the matter will be taken to a subcommittee that will deal with the issue.

Phetoe said the toll gate continues to increase poverty to the people of the province. He added that they will continue to push. They are not going to rest until they have something that will convince workers that they have achieved, until all the toll gates have been reduced.

“As we have indicated that on Friday from 14h00 we will be at the toll gate. We have been given permission after following procedure to continue to fight and make sure that government listens to us in relation to that respect.  It is a burden to workers” said Phetoe
