About 96% of the votes in the
Nationally the African National Congress has
won majority of votes with 62.48% with the Democratic Alliance second at 21.99%
the Economic Freedom Fighters secured the 1 million mark of votes and stands at
over 6.10%.
One of the ANC and IFP strong hold KwaZulu
Natal could get a shake up with the DA standing at 12.16% and the IFP at 11.24
which looks like the DA could be the opposition party in the province, with 95%
of the votes captured.
In the country the voter turnout for these
elections was 73.15% and total valid votes are 16,666,280.
