The Marikana Support Campaign said the new terms of reference set out by the Marikana Commission of Inquiry will help cover corporate capital and government executives from accountability.

Marikana Support Campaign Spokesperson Rehard Desai said some of the terms include that the commission will be expedited and completed by the 31st of July which will give no time to cross examine key officials at Lonmin and the ANC cabinet.

“We will not give up until all the evidence emerges and we are insisting or demanding from Judge Ian Farlam and President Jacob Zuma to extend the life of this commission.

Desai also said while they will be waiting at home in the months and years ahead they will be campaigning to ensure truth and justice is done.
