New MPs sworn in

Over 400 new Members of Parliament were sworn today in Parliament by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

President Jacob Zuma was among the Members of Parliament who were sworn in during the first sitting of the National Assembly this morning.

Bush Radio`s reporter Bulelani Guwa said the proceedings went well.

Guwa said some of the new faces for the members of Economic Freedom Fighters wore reds overall signifying the representation of the working class.

“Musi Maimane of the Democaratic Aliiance is one of those new members.

Following the nomination of two audible members for the posion of speaker of the National Assembly ANC’s Baleka Mbethe and Nosimo Balindlela who represents the Democratic Alliance.” Guwa said.
