Two people died in paragliding incident in KZN

ER24 paramedics and other services responded to a glider accident near Howick in KwaZulu Natal.

Paramedics Spokesperson Russel Meiring said two men in their 50's died when their propelled para glider crashed into a mountain.

“When paramedics arrived, they discovered the small aircraft had been badly damaged. Two males had sustained fatal injuries.” Meiring added.

It is unknown what caused the collision but local authorities were on scene to begin their investigations.
